Motivational Techniques for those who lack enthusiasm

If your among the many individuals who start out on a weight loss or exercise program with determined enthusiasm , a strong drive to succeed, a great motivation to stay self disciplined with strong ambitions and intentions......but soon find yourself off track of your initial goal, experiencing emotional and physical tiredness, deficiency in desire, interest and driving force to be motivated ……………and then again return to that familiar place …. again find yourself unmotivated, lacking will power and drive with no hope ......well, your not alone. In fact, you are among the majority. The same holds true for those working toward other aspects of success besides weight loss.

I first learned about drive and enthusiasm many years ago but I didn’t experience what it really meant until I lost my job , and found myself out of shape and unhealthy. The enthusiasm and drive to succeed at this point in my life came rather quickly . Not easily however , but quickly. It is not logic that drives our actions. It is our emotions.

At this point in my life and at that very moment, emotionally my drive was very strong and my enthusiasm to succeed was very high. What was I going to do now ! I wasn’t ready to pursue the career of my choice and there really was no other career available that I qualified for at the time. I had been working on my health, fitness and well being but like many others I lacked drive and enthusiasm. After all a thirty year old out of shape fitness consultant and trainer was not going to bring in many clients. So what happened? What happened is the same thing that must happen for anyone who desires to succeed but lacks motivation, drive and enthusiasm.

I had no other choice but to succeed. I had no other option but to stay focused, to commit, to sacrifice, to stop procrastinating, to take action , to plan and set goals , to be realistic and to develop a burning desire to make my goals a reality.

And those very things are what is required for anyone to succeed who lacks drive and enthusiasm. I do not recommend waiting for a job loss or the results of poor health before you make your decision. But start there, here, with a decision. Then , follow these next steps.

1. Change Everyday. Always do today's jobs better than yesterday's jobs.

2. Positive Minded. Thinking the good things and throw away the bad thinking.

3. Commitment. Commit with your decisions to change.

4. Sacrifice. No Sacrifices, No Success.

"You Can't Change Your Life Until You Change What You Do Everyday"

CHANGE EVERYDAY.

Our habitual patterns of thinking and doing are what keep us from moving forward.-With out the motivation for change, you are going to see the same results day after day, week after week, year after year. You must be willing to change. Most of the times, Change , involves looking inward and addressing the issues that you would rather not address.

POSITIVE MINDED.

A negative attitude will result in poor and negative outcomes. Positive thinking will result in positive results. Attitude makes all the difference. On an unconscious level our negative self talk and that “inner critic” does affect your level of success. This inner critic is not really you. Not the present you. It is a result of what you have been told, what you have heard. From when you where a child. Standards of parents, teachers, and the society that you grew up in. Keeping a positive outlook on life is healthy. Stop once and awhile and notice the attitude of the people around you. Better yet, stop and notice your own attitude toward things. Positive people get positive results.

COMMITMENT

Are you prepared to do what ever it takes? If your not - then your not committed to your own success. I don’t care how motivated and enthused you are - with out commitment you are not going to succeed, period. Commit to what ever it takes……even if your initial plan fails and you come short of your goals - if your committed you will find a way.

SACRIFICE

You have to sacrifice TODAY - for the things you want TOMORROW. Sacrifice means paying your dues. It means giving some things up, time, rest, certain foods, etc. If your not willing to make a sacrifice then, truly, you are not willing to succeed.

Henry Ford said, "You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars. Enthusiasm is the spark in your eye, the swing in your gait, the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of your will and your energy to execute your ideas.

Improve Your Life With These Self Motivation Skills:

1. Take responsibility.

2. Stop procrastinating.

3. Take action.

4. Stop comparing.

5. Eliminate negativity. .

6. Be realistic. .

7. Make plans.

8. Reward yourself.

You can stay motivated by writing down your goals, sticking to your schedule, and reminding yourself of what led you to set your goal in the first place. If you slip up, don't give up. Forgive yourself and make a plan for getting back on track. And remember ..."Procrastination is the seed of self destruction". You can do it and it does not mater from where you start.

Look into some of these non-evasive holistic healing tools for building motivation, inspiring enthusiasm and ultimately helping with success.

Meditation

Meditation can help you address some core issues that you may be struggling with. It can help you unlock those flaws that are holding you back from succeeding. It is an excellent way to find that inner motivation and release that fear that may be holding you back.

Hypnosis
Hypnosis is another highly effective, non-invasive technique that can be used to make permanent changes in our thoughts and behavior at the subconscious level. Hypnosis is a method of bypassing the critical, conscious faculty of the mind and working exclusively with the subconscious mind, which operates as our ultimate control center.
