How you create your own reality, with your thoughts.
Have you ever walked into a room and could feel the “energy”? Maybe you have said, or have heard others say that they got a “bad vibe” or a “good vibe” about someone or something when they walked into a room?
Did you know that thoughts, conversations, emotions and moods can be absorbed by physical matter in the enclosed space like a room?
This is the “vibration” that is left lingering. That “feeling “you get. Either immediately or long after it has taken place.
Powerfully, thoughts and attitudes create energy and vibrations. Ultimately attitude and your thinking make all the difference in your life as to weather you attract positive or negative people of circumstances.
The flow of energy in your life is directed by your attitude and thoughts.
This energy flows through the chakra system of your body. These energies are expressd and manifested in the physical realm. This article is not about Chakra so we are not going to get into the Chakra system this time.
Your attitude and thoughts weather negative or postive will attract negative or postive things to you.
In his 1960 book Think and grow rich, Napoleon hill talks about how people have “thought” themselves into success or thought themselves into a job. The first paragraph in the first chapter says:
“TRULY, “thoughts are things,” and powerful things at that, when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire for their translation into riches, or other material object. “
The dominating thoughts that we hold in our mind and reach the sub-conscience are acted upon in our life. They are manifested into reality. As it has been said, you are what you eat. Furthermore you are what you think. Thinking negative about things or people will undoubtly bring negative things into your life. And same is true for positive thoughts and speaking.
When I was studying and completing my courses in meditation and raja yoga, Swami Kriyanada talks about the principles of Magnetism. He talks about that the essential factor of magnetism is its power of attraction and repulsion. That love attracts love and fear attracts fear. Swami Kriyanada tells a story about how a theory of luck is more a question of attitude. He says that “if you want to be lucky “he says to “expect to be lucky.”
He goes on to teach that whatever one holds strongly in his mind that he attracts to himself.
One other important note to point out is that he states that foods we eat can strengthen or deplete ones magnetism. We may focus on this in another article post, but not at this time.
So it is important that what we think constantly may become your own truth.. You can create your own reality by the dominating thoughts you hold in your mind. Constantly talk about negative things or circumstances, and you will invite further negative things or people into your life. And the more positive thoughts that you think and speak about will bring more positive experiences and people into your life.
Think you are a bad person and nothing goes your way --- well you get exactly what you expect to get. Think you can accomplish whatever it is you seek --- well - start experimenting. Let’s just find out what reality you can create for yourself. Furthermore, do not associate your self with negative media or people. It will only deplete your energy.
Here is a sample exercise of auto suggestion and visualization mediation to start developing energy and magnetism as well as positive thinking.
You can use the power of autosuggestion, guided imagery and visualization, self hypnosis, to develop many aspects of your self and your life.
I will give a brief instruction of how to do this but some examples may be. That you want to increase your self esteem, develop more patience with your children, more understanding and compassion toward your spouse, maybe you want to see yourself in a new career, or maybe even a new relationship. Maybe you can see yourself as the person you wish to be - in that the way you walk, talk, act, speak, look, feel.
There are many avenues to take and each one will be personal.
Maybe you are seeking to lose weight. See yourself in action. Eating nutritiously, exercising regularly. See how it feels to be 10. 20, 30 or even 50 lbs lighter. Maybe you have more energy - since how that feels. Finally you can take that hike you have been wanting to take or buy that new dress or jeans. Did you get a new hair cut to go with the new you? See it, feel it, make it real. Discover how you will accomplish this goal.
