This is a form of alternative fitness that works at  cultivating mind , body and spiritual wellness and awarness through a chinese form of excersice that began in the 13th century.

Tai Chi is one of the fastest growing alternative health and fitness activities in the United States. One reason for that popularity is that it can be practiced by nearly anyone regardless of age or gender . The Second Reason maybe the theraputic value of regular practice of Tai Chi .

The regular practice of Tai Chi has been proven and recognized by medical experts to improve muscle strength, improve memory and mental focus and concentration, improved coordination and balance, has been used as an effective alternative to prevent and treat illness and chronic disease.

Tai Chi has been shown to inrease levels of energy and reduce stress and help you to relax.it slow's the effect of aging and has also been show to lower blood pressure.

Ta Chi , pronounced "tie chee" is a gentle exercise program composed of slow, deliberate movements ,meditation, and deep breathing, which enhance physical health and emotional well-being.

The link between mind and body has been shown effectively to promote well being , reduce stress and hypertension .

In Tai Chi practice, the development of qi ( chee) is unblocked and once the qi is flowing properly again in your body ,a balance is maintained (physical, and mental and spiritual) which in turn promotes proper immune system and the central nervous system function that is beneficial for chronic conditions and those who suffer from depression and anxiety . The gental turning and twisting from the hips massages the internal organs and aids in digestion and gastrointestinal conditions. The deep breathing in tai chi helps treat respiratory ailments like asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.
